The planner who cares about every person in the room
About Holly Rose
Not just the couple. Every guest. Every detail. Every moment that makes your day feel completely, unmistakably yours.

My Story
Weddings found me and I've never looked back
I didn't grow up dreaming of my own wedding. What I've always had, for as long as I can remember, is a deep love of seeing people in their element - genuinely, completely happy. And there is nowhere that feeling is more alive than on a wedding day.
I began my career in my family's wedding and events catering company in Hampshire, learning not just how events work, but how the people behind them work. That grounding in relationships, in teamwork, in the belief that the people you choose to surround yourself with matter, has shaped everything I do.
From there, I spent four dedicated years as Head of Events at Hawkstone Hall & Gardens, in Shropshire, one of the UK's most celebrated wedding venues, working alongside hundreds of couples to bring their visions to life. It was an extraordinary experience. But I knew something was missing.
I couldn't always put my couples first. And for me, that relationship - the deep, personal commitment to every person I work with, is the entire reason I do this. So I took the leap, and Weddings by Holly Rose was born.
I believe the most beautiful weddings aren't the most elaborate ones - they're the ones where every single detail says this could only have been theirs.
What bespoke really means
There was a wedding I once worked on where each guest arrived at their seat to find a brown paper wrapped parcel, their name written on the front. An escort card, of sorts. But when they unwrapped it and each one contained a book. Not a random book. A book chosen specifically for that person. One that meant something to them.
The table looked beautiful before a single package was opened. But the moment guests began to unwrap them - the laughter, the tears, the look on people's faces when they realised someone had thought about them, specifically, as an individual; that is what I think about when I think about what bespoke truly means.
It isn't about spending more. It's about thinking more. About the couple, yes, but also about everyone they love, and the experience they want those people to have.
That's what I bring to every wedding I plan.
The wedding that changed how I think about my work

Your story deserves to be told properly
Calm is a skill, not a personality trait
My commitment to you as a couple comes first
No two couples are the same, and no two weddings should be. I start every planning journey by listening to who you are before I think about a single detail.
Wedding planning can be overwhelming. My job is to carry that weight so you don't have to. You should feel excited, not anxious, at every stage, from first consultation to final dance.
I left the security of an established venue because I needed to be able to put my couples first - completely, without compromise. That decision shapes how I work with every single person I take on.
A little more about the person behind the planning
You'll be working closely with me for months - sometimes over a year. So here's a little more of who I am when I'm not obsessing over seating plans and supplier contracts.
The two things I'll never tire of
Seeing a bride in her dress for the very first time. And seeing a couple at the end of the aisle, in that moment before everything begins. Every single time, without exception. That's why I do this.
Bruce
When I'm not buried in mood boards and vendor contracts, I spend as much time as possible with my Black Labrador, Bruce. He is the best. He does not understand timelines or budgets. He does not care. He is perfect.
The musical theatre trained planner
I've trained in Musical Theatre meaning I understand performance, timing, and the art of making a moment land. It also means you should keep me away from the karaoke machine at your evening reception.
Music or Podcasts
You will never find me sat in complete silence. A good album or brilliant rewatch podcast will always be blasting, and I'd love to have your recommendations!
The Disney devotee
I love Disney. Parks, films, the stories behind the stories. I've even auditioned to be a princess (I didn't get it). Tokyo Disneyland & Disney Sea are next on the list. I share my birthday with Walt Disney himself - and with my mum, which feels equally magical.
I'm also a bride
Alongside planning my couples' weddings, I'm planning my own. Which means I'm living every feeling you're experiencing - the excitement, the decisions, the moments of overwhelm. I know exactly what it feels like to be on your side of the table. And I promise you, it makes me a better planner.
